Ibrehem

Brooklyn resident Ibrehem Rahman might seem a little familiar to you. He was a cast member on "Survivor: Palau", the tenth season of CBS's hit show, "Survivor". A native of Birmingham, Alabama, and a graduate of Tuskegee University, Rahman now works in real estate sales and investments for Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Manhattan and models part-time.

How did you get into modeling?
Rahman: I did a runway show in Birmingham, and I really enjoyed it. Later I did a few more small modeling jobs, and finally moved to Miami where I got signed with the Michelle Pommier Agency.

What has been your best known modeling work?
Rahman: I did a national Visa commercial and some catalog work.

How did you get on "Survivor"?
Rahman: I was watching it on t.v., I hadn't really watched it before, and the host, Jeff Probst, announced how to audition for the show, and I was intrigued. I sent my videotape in to CBS, went to some castings and somehow got selected.

You were the eighth person voted off, two before the Jury, what happened?
Rahman: That was the season in which there was no merge. My tribe got down to Stephanie, Bobby Jon and me. When we lost the next immunity challenge, the two of them voted me off.

If you had Survivor to do over again, what would you do differently?
Rahman: I would be more assertive, take more of a leadership position. I was probably too laid back, and I would act more crazy to get more t.v. time! I wasn't as quiet as what they portrayed me, I talked quite a bit to the cameras and to other people, but they didn't show it on air.

What's your favorite music, television, underwear?
Rahman: I love all kinds of music, except for heavy metal. I listen to house music when I run, rap when I lift weights. I don't watch a lot of t.v., but I love HBO's "Entourage". And I love my boxer briefs.

Do you have a secret fantasy?
Rahman: I always wanted to be a fighter pilot, but my eyesight wasn't good enough.

Would you make a better male stripper, a country singer or the President of the United States?
Rahman: Probably a country singer because I'm from the South.

Anything else we should know about you?
Rahman: I have a wonderful heart, well, that's what my mother says. I'm very intense, and I'm single, ladies!
